Overview: Automation Boutique is a Dutch fintech with roots in corporate treasury and experience in tailored automation and TMS implementations. It is now expanding, with out-of-the-box automation solutions aimed at simply loading financial data into Excel or Power BI, on demand, with all integration work managed for the client. All data transfer and at rest is encrypted and ISO 27001 certified. The system supports a growing number of API-enabled banks and accounting platforms.

In operation, the system links bank accounts, accounting software, and other financial data sources via secure API integration. The platform then automatically normalises and transforms data from different sources into a consistent format. Users are then able to view their financial data in Excel or Power BI, with alerts programmable for updates.

The solutions are:

• API Boutique. This connects to bank APIs, and delivers live balances and transactions directly into Excel and Power BI, along with targeted and automated rules-based alerts for key events such as incoming payments or low balances.
  
• SFTP Boutique. Aims to simplify the retrieval and distribution of structured financial files such as CAMT, MT940, and CSV via Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Users, especially those relying on file-based data exchanges, can schedule file transfers based on flexible criteria, then search, preview, and extract relevant data. Built-in parsers for standard formats enable users to locate specific transactions, trace them to their source file, and generate downloadable reports.

The vendor says both solutions are actively developed using direct input from customers, with new features “continuously added” based on real-world treasury use cases. A trial environment, with sample data, is planned to enable potential customers to test key features before committing.

Clients: For tailored automation, Automation Boutique typically services mid-size and large corporates. For its plug-and-play solutions, smaller companies are also targeted.
